‘People’s tea of Japan’ or ‘Popcorn Tea’. Roasted rice kernels add a slightly toasty and nutty flavor. Amazingly, the flavors don’t really blend in the steeped cup, instead you can taste a wonderful Bancha green tea underneath a toasted rice/grain flavor, and the puffed rice (almost popcorny in taste) on top. This is a very cool tea.
Ingredients: A mixture of bancha green tea, popped corn and toasted hulled rice kernels.
